=============================================================================== Release note Intelligent Power Protector 1.61 for Windows (August 2018) =============================================================================== New features: ============= * New Network-M2 communication card compatibility : authentication by certificate exchange / credentials * New Shutdown delay option is available on IPP when Network-M2 card is connected as Power Source (please refer to Card On line help) Pairing Guidelines: (New Network-M2) =================== * Card Version 1.4.3 recommended to ease pairing Software and card * Information about Pairing are mentionnend on Network-M2 card, (not on IPP on line help) * For Pairing, Credentials must not be used for version below 1.4.2 (included). Potential limitations below : * The user MUST do the Pairing from the card. * If user sets Credentials from IPM, he will not be able to monitor the card * In some cases, removing and rescanning the card is not enough : IPM servce restart is required Known issues: ============= * After IPP Upgrade Network-M2 card cannot be discovered : fresh install is mandatory * On Network-M2 side, Event messages severity have been modified since Network-MS. Behavior on IPP is then impacted * On Network-M2 side, we have the 30 IPP simultaneous connections limitation. * On Network-M2 Card F/W version is not displayed
